D.L. Andersen has been spinning stories in her head since she can remember, but only recently took the plunge to write them down. After visiting a historic site in her neighborhood and enduring many sleepless nights, she finally heeded the “voices” of her characters and gave them their own place to come alive again. She holds a BA in education from Concordia University, Chicago, with a minor in church history and music. Her writing credits include a few short stories with Walrus Press and the Agorist Writer’s Workshop and two novellas about the Stephenson family. She lives in Southern Illinois with her husband, two dogs and a cat.
